Spirit Week

Dreambox (Math Game) and our Week

Dreambox

All students in grade k-3 (primary) have access to the math game, Dreambox. Students can access their account by going through the student portal on the OCSB website. Their login information is the same as it is for their google accounts. Students can access their Dreambox account at any time.

Math

We continue to work on using a variety of strategies for subtraction such as open number lines. Again, estimation is being revisited to check for a reasonable answer. In patterning, we are learning about pattern rules.

Scientists in School
The students enjoyed a great morning and learned a lot about classifying soil. Thank-you to all of our parent volunteers!

Volunteers Needed

We are still in need of volunteers for Friday morning (approx 8:55-12:00) to help run the scientists in schools workshops. Without volunteers, we are not able to run the program. We are in need of 3 additional volunteers.

Popcorn Orders Due

Popcorn orders are due this Monday, October 16th.
Each bag is $2.00, and will be delivered to your child on the dates listed below.

Popcorn days are October 26th,  November 16th, December 14th and January 18th.

Picture Day

Grade Three students will have their pictures taken on Thursday October 19th. Students should refrain from wearing green that day.
